Bloomfield Hills 3

With abundant windows dominating this house, the objective was to create multiple terraced gardens, visible from all living areas… including the second level deck and lower level patio… thereby bringing nature’s bounty indoors.

The focus of this outdoor environment is the small pond, bordered by a natural array of varied boulders, and fed by plateaus of gently cascading waterfalls. The overall effect arouses all the senses, conveying the appearance this setting was indigenous and perfectly suited to the home it accompanies.
